Folded leather cover with 32 leaves. This autograph album contains poems and greetings written to Ernestine McMillan by her classmates between 1930 and 1933 while in elementary school. She would have been between 10 and 12 years of age when this autograph album was in use. The pages of the book are blue, pink, and white and are written on both sides.

U.S. Government War Ration Book Four. This book was issued to Charlotte E. Spencer of Torrington, Wyoming. Charlotte Spencer was four years old in 1943. The book was signed for by her mother, Esther E. Spencer. Books such as this were the mechanism by which commodities were rationed during World War II. Resources such as gas, coffee, and sugar were regulated. This book was issued in 1943 and still contains many of the original stamps.
